Customizing My Flickr Badge

I created the flickr badge running on the right side of my home page with the help of several resources.

  1. I started by generating a Flickr HTML Badge. This creates the important script that pulls the appropriate images from flickr. It also creates some useless CSS.
  2. Veerle's blog explains what needs to be adjusted with the script to make it validate.
  3. The script has some configurations that can be configured more easily with help from Elliot Swan's post about the Flickr badge's JavaScript Parameters and the script HTML output.
  4. The idea for the CSS only roll over effect for the thumbnails came from the Hover Box Image Gallery.
  5. My CSS probably needs to be tweaked some more, but it is located in a section titled CSS Flickr Badge here.
  6. The images are housed in a Drupal block that is configured to only run on the front page.

I hope you enjoy the images.
